Welcome to the site. I am also applying for bear hunting points in WI every year but have yet to go. I think we will have a much shorter wait now than in years past with the population recently doubling.
That said, the "Invite" tab above allows you to invite friends and family from your gmail, yahoo or hotmail address book. You can even create your own groups i.e. Backes Deer Camp or whatever. It's a fun way to stay in touch outside of hunting season because it integrates with facebook and twitter too.
Feel free to write a blog or forum topic. It's great for asking other hunters advice on something, you always get great feedback.
