What's the best part about spring for hunters?
I will have to say Spring Turkey Hunting because it's like the second deer season in terms of a weekend away with the guys, sitting in the blind all day (but warmer) with a gun in your hand.
Some may like to look for antler sheds, or start scouting for bow hunting but there's nothing like calling in a tom and for those hunters who have never been turkey hunting it's never too late. I started later in life and it's a great way to get back in the woods when you are still a long way from bow season.

Being able to hunt turkey in the mornings, do scouting and field work in the after lunch, and then wrap it up by going river walleye fishing in the afternoons. I love spring......fall is great too!
