Even with being blessed with great land in west-central Wisconsin, it's becoming more and more expensive for a weekend hunt. When you add up all the stuff like gas, supplies, license, equipment, and also having to take off of work, you are talking costs between 100-150$ or more a trip. I'm looking for somewhere close to home (southeastern Wisconsin) for a quick bowhunt on anygiven weekend during the season to help save on my pocketbook and to not keep me away from my family for too long. I'm sure there's other hunters that are in simaler situations that would love a place close by for a quicky hunt. If anybody knows of anyplaces like friendly farmers or good public land in southeastern WI, plaese share.
